Examples of Recycled Glass Pieces

Recycling has always been a passion of mine, and, having discovered a source of recycled bottle glass which can be supplied in flat sheets, I am continually looking for new ways of transforming this beautiful material. I currently buy recycled glass sheets from a community project in Wales called Ten Green Bottles - dedicated to recycling glass and educational projects. The natural minerals used to colour the glass mean that each sheet is slightly different in shade and thickness. All the colours work in harmony with each other, lending themselves to subtle and naturalistic designs.
