Cradley Festival of Angels

St James the Great Church, in the village of Cradley, Herefordshire, is hosting an ambitious and inspiring exhibiton of 60 sizeable angels created by artist Celia Kilner. Each of the angelic figures is taken from an historic angel from works of art throughout the ages, and displayed magnificently around the church. As part of this festival I have designed and made a series of angels - Flying, Dancing and Standing - NewsNewsincorporating the symbol of the village church, the pilgrims' cockleshell, in each. Part of the proceeds from the sale of these unique handmade glass angels will go towards the restoration of Cradley church. Cradley Festival of Angels includes a variety of events throughout the summer, including cream teas every weekend until July 19th. Please visit www.cradley.org.uk for further details.
