Barn Window
This panel was commissioned to be placed in an already glazed barn window. The panel sits in front of the existing clear glass in memory of the client's husband.
Each of the sections in the window represents an area of his life which was important to him: music, building houses, walking on the Malvern Hills, his work as a scientist on the use of infrared light. All these aspects are woven together with a blue glass ribbon loosely representing the double helix - symbolising his work as a scientist and celebrating his particular love of blue glass.
