Aerial panel in situ

This free-standing panel was made for the client's late father who had been a keen glider pilot - viewing the landcape from above. Two painted and fired panels add a focal point in the centre of the design and copper sheeting was cut and woven into the image to add more texture. The panel is supported by two glass side pieces and sits in a wooden box containing recessed uplighting lamps for illumination at night.
